In a video recently shared by AIT, Godswill Akpabio stated that if the NDLEA truly believed Senator Ashiru was a drug baron, they should have arrested him long ago. He said that the NDLEA made the allegation against Ashiru shortly after he (Ashiru) raised concerns about the integrity of some NDLEA officials

In Godswill Akpabio’s exact words: “If NDLEA felt that you were drug baron they should have arrested you before you got to 30 years. They should have brought it up before you were 50.
