GIST: Lekki Central Mosque replaces controversial “Jesus is not God” banner with another controversial banner after backlash

The Lekki Central Mosque has removed the banner that elicited backlash from Christians but the new banner in place has also raised brows.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Previously, a banner placed at the gate of the Mosque,  facing the main road read: “Jesus Christ is not God! He is a  prophet and messenger of God!”

Christians pointed out that the banner was disrespectful to Christians who believe in the trinity – that Jesus is God.

This led to mixed reactions and the banner was removed.

A Muslim took to X to reveal that the controversial banner is no longer up and a new banner has now been placed at the location.

However, the new banner also has words that Christians consider disrespectful.

It reads: “No diety (sic) is worthy of worship except Allah the Lord of Jesus Christ, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Muhammed, & all prophets”.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
