In an interview with Arise Television, Nya-Etok Ezekiel, a member of the Renewed Hope Multi-Agency Housing Delivery Team, stated that he is among those who frequently criticize the president. He further stated that by enlisting him for the housing project, the president is demonstrating his preference for individuals who possess the necessary technical knowledge and expertise to add value to the project.
Speaking about the construction and building project, Mr. Ezekiel said, “What Nigerians don’t know is that Mr. President said he is going to be there personally.
“Apart from approving about a hundred and twenty-six billion, which has never happened for the housing sub-sector,.
“He said I was going there personally, and a day before the early part was there, they actually landed on the helicopter that he was going to come with.
“On that day, the weather was so bad that there was no way he was going to come. Did you know that Mr. President braved it and came by road because he insisted that he was going to be there?” he continued.
“I am always critical of the president, and for him to get me on board shows that he doesn’t care about what I have said about him, so long as you’re professional, you’re good, you know what you’re doing, committed, and passionate”.
