FFK argued that had a similar affront been directed at Islam, the response would have been far more severe, suggesting that Paris would have been engulfed in protests. He criticized what he perceives as the passivity of Christians, accusing them of being overly accommodating and passive in the face of such disrespect towards their faith.
In a provocative statement, FFK implied that a more extreme reaction, such as a bombing, could have been justified, though he quickly distanced himself from that suggestion.
