Ex Senate President Response After Akpabio Said He Wants Him Removed Because He’s From The Niger Delta

After Senate President Godswill Akpabio stated that he wants him gone because he is from the Niger Delta, former Kwara state governor and Senate President Bukola Saraki responded. This is coming after the senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti was suspended by the Senate over violation of Senate rules. It is no longer news that the suspension came after she submitted a petition accusing Akpabio of harassment.

Reacting to the statement that was made by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki said it is not true that he wants him to be removed.

The former Senate President stated that Godswill Akpabio is playing cheap politics and also trivializing a serious matter.

Bukola Saraki, however Insisted that the allegations of the Kogi lawmaker should be investigated.

 

 

According to Bukola Saraki on his official X handle;
