Speaking at a press conference, Maresca shared his happiness about James’ return, saying, “Finally, he is back. He worked with us in the international break. It’s good news for him.”

 

 

James has been out of action due to recurring injuries that have affected his availability throughout the season. The right-back’s absence has been felt by the team, as he is not only a key player defensively but also contributes to Chelsea’s attack with his crossing and overlapping runs. His leadership on the pitch, as club captain, is also valuable to the team.
