Speaking during a recent service, Pastor Adeboye assured the congregation that God’s blessings are not rooted in fraudulent means but in divine providence. He reminded them of the power of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, encouraging them to trust in divine timing and guidance.
In his message, Pastor Adeboye recounted a personal experience from his days as a Ph.D. student in Mathematics. He revealed how he struggled with a complex problem involving 186 simultaneous equations for a grueling 18 months without any progress. Frustrated and at a standstill, he decided to take a break from his studies and turned to the Bible for inspiration.
He encouraged believers to place their trust in God, assuring them that just as God spoke to him during his academic struggles, He would also speak to those seeking divine intervention in their lives.
According to him, “When I say God is going to bless you remarkably, some of you may be wondering, How will it happen? We are not talking about fraudulent riches. We are talking about the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Many years ago, when I was working on my Ph.D. in Mathematics, I was stuck on a problem for 18 months. I had 186 simultaneous equations and no solution in sight.”
“One night, I decided to put the work aside and read Exodus 14:21-28—the story of how the Red Sea parted. As soon as I finished reading, God spoke to me.
