According to Clark, Wike stated that the main reason why he wants to retained control over the PDP structure in Rivers state is to help ensure that President Tinubu wins re-election in 2027. He said Wike has also made it clear that he plans to hold unto the political structure for the rest of his life. He said there might be deeper reasons why Wike doesn’t want to let go of his control of the PDP structure in the state.

According to Clark: “Wike is saying now that he will protect his structure until his death. But Wike had told us that the main reason for keeping the structure is that he wants President Tinubu to win in 2027.
