The people of Edo state have been advised not to sell their conscience in the next Edo state governorship election by Peter Gregory Obi, the former governor of Anambra state and the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for president in 2023. In the video, Peter Obi urged people not to sell their votes. He said if they are offered money, they should collect it because it is their money they are recycling back to them.
Peter Obi said;
“I know there is hunger, there is difficulty so everybody is tempted to collect the peanut that they give people to vote. But I want you to remember that you are selling four years. What we are going through in Nigeria today is because we compromised our future by selling it to people who are not competent. Please, do not sell your conscience.
