Damilare Adenola made this statement during an interview with a journalist on Arise Television. During the interview, Damilare Adenola said, “DSS failed to find Yahaya Bello but they claim to have information about the hijack of the protest. We are peaceful people and if the DSS has information about people who want to hijack the protest, then they should go and arrest them.”
“We are not saying that the DSS should not be around during the protest. The DSS should be available on that day because it is also our right to enjoy protection of our lives and properties.
