The Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Rivers State Chapter, Chijioke Ihunwo, has expressed dissatisfaction over the suggestion made by CP Tunji Disu, the Rivers Commissioner of Police (CP), that Governor Fubara should wait to act on the 21 local government area (LGA) chairmen who refused to step down after their terms ended on June 17 until an appeal court ruling is made on June 20.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a video shared by TVC, Ihunwo questioned whether the Commissioner of Police (CP), Disu, would have acted the same way when Nyesom Wike was the governor of Rivers. Ihunwo insisted that the court did not prevent Governor Fubara from forming a Caretaker Committee for the LGAs. He called for the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to transfer CP Disu out of Rivers State
