Dino Melaye, Wike refused to support Adeleke, and he refused to support PDP in Osun yet Adeleke Won

 

 

Former senator Dino Melaye recently discussed the impact of current Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike on the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in a statement. Melaye questioned the purpose of Wike’s electoral support and chastised his role within the party in a video shared by SYMFONI TV.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
Melaye pointed out that despite Wike not backing Ademola Adeleke in the Osun State election, Adeleke still emerged as the governor. According to Melaye, Wike also supported other candidates in different states, such as Sandy Onu in Cross River and Albert in Akwa Ibom, but they all lost, despite Wike’s involvement and financial backing.

He went further to mention that even the former G5 governors, whom Wike had supported, including Samuel Ortom and other former governors from Enugu and Abia, all lost their senatorial bids. This, Melaye argued, shows that Wike’s support may not be as powerful as some think.

Melaye concluded by saying that while people from Rivers State might continue to follow Wike, the people of Kogi State, where he is from, would not do the same. He emphasized that power and leadership come from God, not from the influence of a single person like Wike.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
