Desmond Elliot that was not using Olushola decided to use it when he wanted to come to Yoruba land- According to Seyi Law

Comedian Seyilaw from Nigeria has chosen to discuss the story of Nigerian congressman Desmond Elliot and his purported decision to use his Yoruba name, “Olushola,” as a means of gaining political prominence in the southwest region. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Seyilaw made the accusation a few hours ago during an interview with Nigerian radio host Nedu Ani. He said that he promised internet users that if his children behave like Lagos State Labour Party 2023 Governorship candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, they will never hold any office in Yoruba land. He added that he made this promise because one person can never denigrate a group of people and expect to rule them.

According to Seyilaw, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour called on the Yorubas to think when he was tackling president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2021, adding that in 2023, they decided to use the same word against him but people did not see the correlation.

Speaking further, Seyilaw accused Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of adding an Igbo name to his nomenclature when he was trying to canvass for the votes of other people in Lagos State, adding that;

“Which is not bad. Desmond Elliot has other names, Desmond Elliot that was not using Olushola decided to use it when he wanted to come to Yoruba land, which means that politicians actually know what they are doing. So GRV wanted to use Chinedu to get the Igbo votes, but when he saw that some Yorubas were kicking against Igbos dominating their land he now remembered that his family has strong tie to Yoruba land. That is not how it works.” CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
