Defence Headquarters Responds To Report That They Uploaded And Deleted Video Of Soldiers Razing Okuama

In response to a story that said they had published and removed footage showing soldiers demolishing the Okuoma community in Delta state, the Nigerian Defense Headquarters has responded. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

SAHARA REPORTERS claims that a video showing soldiers setting fire to a town where some of their comrades were slain was uploaded by the Defence Headquarters. The report went on to say that the video was taken down not long after it was uploaded. Sahara Reporters later shared evidence of the removed video in a post on its official X account on Sunday.

However, the Nigerian Defence Headquarters has now reacted to the report. In a post that was shared on its official X handle on Sunday, the report was tagged as fake. The Defence Headquarters also told the general public to disregard peddlers of fake news.
