Darey posted the following on his verified Twitter feed on Thursday, according to a tweet published by a user: Senator Remi Tinubu, the First Lady, was not visited by President Olusegun Obasanjo at her residence or the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The First Lady was also at the Eko Hotel that day for her own event. Obasanjo’s long-time friend, Mrs. Abba Folawiyo, informed him that the First Lady was present, and Obasanjo then went to greet her. They discussed the situation in the country and Obasanjo conveyed a message to President Bola Tinubu through the First Lady, Mrs. Remi Tinubu.

Darey wrote this in a post on his verified Twitter page on Thursday.

In his words, “President Olusegun Obasanjo did not meet the First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, or at home

He only met her by coincidence at Eko Hotel in the company of Mrs Abba Folawiyo.

A source claimed that Obasanjo had an event at Eko Hotel on Sallah Day, and the First Lady, too, had an event that day.

Mrs Folawiyo, a long-time friend of Obasanjo, then told the former president that the First Lady was around.
