Olatunji Disu, the commissioner of police for Rivers State, has provided a description of what happened following the combined security raid that resulted in the demise of Gift Okpara, popularly known as 2Baba, the infamous leader of the Iceland cult. 2Baba, the main suspect in the horrific murder of former Divisional Police Officer Bako Angbashim, was killed on February 19 in Ebrass Forest, Ahoada West LGA, during a joint security raid. In a report by Punch, Disu revealed that after the recovery and transportation of 2Baba’s body to Ahoada at midnight, women from all corners came out, crying and cursing the deceased. He mentioned that it left him contemplating what the deceased must have done to incur such curses, even in death.

In Disu’s words: “When his (2Baba) body was taken to Ahoada at midnight, women from all angles came out, they were crying and raining curses on the body.
