Lloyd proudly shared his academic credentials, stating, “I am not only a politician, I hold a PhD in law and another PhD in Conflict management and security studies.” He further elaborated on his qualifications, mentioning, “I hold a masters degree in conflict management studies and security studies. One from the University of Dundee in Scotland and another from the Rivers state University.”
The former chairman emphasized how his educational background has shaped his approach to public service. “For a man as learned as I am, there is a minimum standard of behavior,” Lloyd explained, suggesting that his academic achievements have instilled in him a strong sense of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Addressing his time in office, Lloyd demonstrated his understanding of political terms, stating, “From the day I was elected into office, I knew when my tenure would expire.” This comment underscores his respect for the democratic process and term limits.
However, Lloyd didn’t shy away from commenting on the current political crisis in Rivers State. He pointed to what he believes is the root cause of the issue, saying, “Unfortunately, we have this situation in the state.
