Singer and activist Charly Boy from Nigeria has expressed his opinions about the color of the recently refined gasoline from Aliko Dangote’s plant. Charly Boy recently disclosed on his X page that the reason for the clear color of the gasoline is because ethanol is used in its production, which makes it a higher grade fuel. He clarified that the various colors of gasoline represent different types of additives: red indicates the presence of octane, green indicates a high octane content, yellow indicates unleaded, and clear indicates the usage of ethanol.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
Charly Boy noted that ethanol improves engine efficiency and power while reducing air pollution by decreasing carbon dioxide emissions. He praised Dangote’s refinery for producing high-quality fuel, calling it the best form of petrol.
In his words;
“Reason why the pms Is pure like water. Petrol has different colors, When it’s Red that means Octane was added. When it’s slightly Green then Octane is slightly very much. When is Yellow it means it has no lead in it. That means it’s unleaded. But when it’s clear as water as seen in the video then you should know that ethanol was used . What ethanol does is that it improves engine efficiency and power.
