Ugochinyere stated that the court’s decision validates all actions and decisions taken by Oko Jumbo’s leadership. He revealed that the ruling also clarifies that Amaewhule and 26 others are not recognised as principal officers of the Rivers State House of Assembly, effectively ending the leadership dispute.
According to him, “By the decision of the Court of Appeal today, Oko Jumbo remains the speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly. The decisions or actions carried out by the Oko Jumbo’s leadership are valid, and by the decision of the appeal court today, the appeal court was very clear.
