Billionaire kidnappers in Lagos: A last-minute chat before their attack in Ladipo

 

A communication between Prince Henry Ode, the head of a well-known abduction ring in Lagos, and a gang member has been made public, according to Vanguard Newspaper. The gang member provided minute-by-minute updates on the target’s movement, and when it was time to strike, he gave the go-ahead.

The conversation was uncovered by detectives at the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Special Squad, who had been tracking the gang’s movements.

 

The detectives found a voice-recorded message in Igbo language, in which the leader of the gang scolded the member for not providing enough information about the target’s movement.

The gang leader told the member to focus and provide the necessary information, as they were on their way to carry out the kidnapping. The member apologized and promised to be more careful.

The conversation revealed the gang’s plan and their method of operation, which involved using a member to monitor the target and provide updates before striking.
