It should be recalled that President Tinubu had received the lowest tally of votes in the South-East (2,187,599) during the 2023 presidential election.

According to the report by The Cable on Monday, Kalu said that Tinubu has shown appreciation for the region through various appointments and initiatives.

He cited the finalization of the South-East Development Commission bill, awaiting the President’s assent, and efforts to create an additional state in the region.

Kalu also mentioned the call for the release of Nnamdi Kanu as a key to resolving security challenges in the zone.

He expressed gratitude to governors, senators, representatives, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and others who have supported these efforts.

Kalu urged the region to remain steadfast in supporting Tinubu’s leadership, stressing the President’s commitment to inclusivity through recent appointments of South-East indigenes.

The Deputy Speaker emphasized that the National Assembly, under APC leadership, will continue to leverage legislative interventions for South-East development and national progress.

He encouraged the region to reciprocate Tinubu’s goodwill by standing united in support of his visionary leadership.

He said, “President Bola Tinubu has given Ndigbo more than the votes cast for him during the elections.

“It is presently left for us to repay him for his good works because when one shows appreciation, he gets more.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
