Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Borno South, Baba Ahmed Mustapha, stated in a recent article by The Sun that Daniel Bwala’s attempt to defend Tinubu is unexpected given that Bwala had previously sharply criticized Tinubu. Baba Ahmed Mustapha pointed out that Bwala once claimed Tinubu was ruling with an illegitimate mandate and that the gods were against his leadership. He also called on the APC leadership and the Senate to reinstate Ndume as the Chief Whip of the Senate, assuring them that Ndume has no intention of leaving the party. He urged the party to recognize Ndume’s loyalty and restore him to his former position.
