Anengi Barasua 'I Will Advise My Colleagues To Obey The Law And Vacate Their Office Like I Did'

Anengi Barasua, the Chairman of Bonny Local Government, has counseled her colleagues to follow the rules and leave their positions, just as she did after serving for three years.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

She declared that she has already left her position and is waiting on orders from Sir Sim Fubara, His Excellency, to complete the required procedures. She called for the council chairmen to embrace peace in response to the ongoing conflicts in several local governments. She emphasized the need of preserving peace and using nonviolent approaches to settle conflicts as opposed to using force.

She said in an interview with Channels TV, ”I have already vacated office and all I’m waiting for is that his excellency, Sir Sim Fubara should give the directive and we do the needful. In those local government that we are having these issues, I think they should just embrace peace.
