Andrew Emwanta: Oshiomhole Made Him Gov, The Next Thing, He Kicked Him Out As National Chairman

Emwanta made these remarks following the recent court ruling by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja, which overturned the impeachment of Phillip Shaibu as Deputy Governor of Edo State.

In an interview with Arise TV, Emwanta criticized Obaseki’s actions, stating that Obaseki had turned against many who had supported him.

Emwanta stated that despite being supported by Adams Oshiomhole, Obaseki still went ahead to influence the ousting of Oshiomhole as national chairman of the All Progressives Congress.

He said when Obaseki then sought a second term, Adams Oshiomhole got him disqualified and he was forced to leave the APC for the PDP.

Emwanta highlighted how PDP members like Dan Orbih and former governor Nyesom Wike, who had sacrificed their ambitions and provided support, were also betrayed by Obaseki.

He said, “from nowhere, Oshiomhole brought him, made him governor, the next thing, he kicked Oshiomhole out as national Chairman, and the next thing, he said he wanted a second term, and he said, ‘with your heart of ingratitude, why do you think you deserve a second term?’

“He left APC for PDP, he got into PDP, PDP members like Dan Orbih who sacrificed his ambition to be governor as the candidate of the PDP in 2020, he dealt with all of these persons. Even governor Wike who gave him a platform by now advising the PDP to allow him, they sponsored him and at the end of the day, he won that election, he betrayed all of them. Even those governors in the APC, the likes of Fayemi and others, including Rotimi Amaechi, they all have their sad tales to tell.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
