Speaking on The Obi One Podcast, Mikel revealed that Chelsea made multiple offers for Osimhen but were unable to match his salary package at Napoli. Undeterred, Mikel expressed his admiration for Osimhen’s talent and his conviction that the striker would be a valuable addition to the Chelsea squad.

“I want to make sure, I’m not going to rest until I get him to the club,” Mikel said. “This is not because he’s my friend, a Nigerian, or like my younger brother, no. But because he is one of the best strikers in the world right now and Africa’s best player. I know what he can bring to the club, and I’m sure a lot of Chelsea fans also know that.”

Mikel’s determination is matched by Chelsea’s continued interest in Osimhen, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. While Osimhen has recently signed with Galatasaray, Romano acknowledged that Chelsea’s admiration for the striker remains strong.

As the January transfer window approaches, Mikel’s pledge and Chelsea’s ongoing interest leave the door open for further developments in Osimhen’s potential move to West London. For now, Osimhen’s focus remains with Galatasaray, but Mikel’s unwavering commitment to bringing him to Chelsea may yet bear fruit in the future.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
