Akpoti: Mr. Senate President, I Have Taken A Lot From You Because I Don’t Want To Speak Publicly

In a video released by AIT on their official X handle (formerly Twitter), Senator Akpoti issued a defiant statement, challenging Akpabio’s authority and accusing him of discrimination and dehumanization.

The words of Akpoti according to the video clip shared by AIT read, “I am not afraid of further being silent, and as a senator duly elected by my people, I choose to remain on this seat, come what may.

Speaking further about the worst that could happen, she stated that, “the worst you will do, Mr. Senate President, is to suspend me from sitting, and I promise you that the fact that I am suspended does not mean that I will cease to contribute my quota to the development of my people, the women of Nigeria, and Nigerians at large. Mr. Senate President, I have taken a whole lot from you because I don’t want to speak publicly.

She also added that, “I will tell Nigerians how you have discriminated, maligned, and dehumanized me. I have tolerated a whole lot from this Assembly’s Senate President. I am not afraid of you. Do what you may, but I will not leave this seat.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
