Again, Moves to Demolish It, Kano Govt Orders Bayero To Vacate Mini Palace,

The Kano State Government has reportedly ordered the deposed Emir Aminu Ado Bayero to leave the Nassarawa Mini Palace, citing the need for renovations, according to Channels Television. At a press conference, Kano State Attorney General Haruna Isah Dederi emphasized the state government’s ownership of the Nassarawa Mini Palace and the necessity of its renovation. He pointed out that the recent court ruling upholds the state’s actions, confirming that Emir Muhammad Sanusi remains the rightful emir of the Kano Emirate.

“Emir Muhammad Sanusi remains the emir of the prestigious Kano Emirate,” Dederi stated. “By implication, Aminu Ado Bayero has trespassed on the Nassarawa Mini Palace.”

This development follows an earlier order by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on May 25, 2024, which demanded Bayero’s eviction and arrest. The governor accused Bayero of causing unrest within the state despite his dethronement.
