Senator Adolphus Wabara, the former president of the Senate and chairman of the PDP’s board of trustees, has voiced his displeasure with a recent ruling by the Federal High Court in Abuja. He characterized the ruling as a sign of judicial insensitivity that could lead to anarchy in the state. Wabara suggested that the judiciary’s actions reflect a failure to uphold justice in Nigeria.
He cautioned that this poorly conceived court order could have dire consequences, including the potential disruption of the nation’s oil revenue, as disaffected youths in Rivers State might feel compelled to return to militant activities in the creeks.
Wabara further asserted that if the judiciary had addressed the issues in Rivers State more professionally and avoided issuing conflicting orders and judgments from the beginning, the current judicial troubles could have been avoided.
