Adams Oshiomhole, the senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, has claimed that he expressed shock at the idea of him taking over as the next governor of Edo State during a conversation concerning PDP candidate Asue Ighodalo at the Aso Rock Villa.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He cited that a Federal High Court ruling had seemed Asue’s candidacy for the PDP as fradulent. He elaborated on the implications of such malpractice by stating that if the party can deny it members and resort to litigation, it is imperative to prevent them from perpetrating such electoral Malpractice in the upcoming election.

He said in a live coverage by Arise TV, ”At the heart of competence is honesty. If there is evidence of deficit in honesty, then there is no basis to start. When they ask me at the Aso Villa about Asue, I said what are you talking about? Even the Federal High Court says that his root to becoming a candidate of PDP was fraudulent. And that raises issues of integrity. If they can cheat themselves and go to court, we will not allow them to cheat in the forthcoming election.
