Honorable Jonathan Vasta, a former Niger State commissioner for information, culture, and tourism, has blasted a Northern sociopolitical organization for advocating for an end to the rotating presidency. He stressed that the current political arrangements are non-negotiable. He declared that President Tinubu will serve two eight-year terms in a row. He declared that the Igbo ethnic group would take the presidential seat after this term. He issued a warning not to change these set regulations because he believed that doing so might cause anarchy.
