The meeting was attended by key Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defence Minister Yaşar Güler, Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, and Chief Presidential Adviser Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
Discussions centered on “what can be done to end the Russian-Ukrainian war” and managing the crisis in Gaza, according to a statement from the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Department.
Rutte emphasized the growing challenges facing NATO, stating, “We talked about the war in Ukraine, the crisis in the Middle East, and the ongoing threat of terrorism.” He also highlighted Turkey’s crucial role within the alliance.
