In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Abaribe welcomed Ekpa’s arrest and highlighted that Ekpa himself admitted that his actions were staged.
Abaribe stated, “What it does is tell those at home who have been instigated by Simon Ekpa to commit violence that he himself said he is just a content creator.”
The senator also criticized Ekpa’s actions, arguing that they do not align with the values of the Igbo people.

Abaribe suggested that resolving the crisis would require the release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, as his freedom could undermine those exploiting his name to justify violence.
Nigerian authorities are seeking Ekpa’s extradition to face prosecution.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
