Samuel Nwanosike, the outgoing leader of the Ikwerre Local Government in Rivers State, has made it quite evident that they will continue to serve as council chairs until the court rules differently. He challenged the governor’s authority, stating that a press conference does not hold legal weight in Rivers State, and insisted that only judicial decisions should determine the outcome.

While affirming his respect for rule of law, Samuel declared to wait for the Court to take proper action.
