In her initial comments, Daniels stated that she had “20 other men” who were providing for her basic needs at one point in her life. This remark ignited debates online, with many accusing her of being promiscuous before marrying Nwoko, who is significantly older than she is.

Responding to those who suggested she had no choice in her marriage, Daniels insisted that her family initially disapproved of her relationship with Nwoko.

“When I saw him with my husband, I forgot I was supposed to have a boyfriend. At that time, I had about 20 boyfriends, each serving different purposes. When people think I didn’t have a choice or that my mom forced me, they don’t know my mom was actually against it. My entire family said no, but one day, I will share our story,” she explained.

Following the backlash, Daniels took to Instagram to provide clarity on her earlier statements. She emphasized that her past relationships were not physical and that she entered her marriage with Nwoko as a virgin.

“Hey everyone, I want to clarify that the ’20 boyfriends’ comment was meant to soothe my husband and educate young girls that having several male friends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body. And yes, I had many friends, but I promised to keep my virginity until marriage. And guess what? I did! It’s a big flex,” she said.

Her comments seem to reflect a broader conversation about relationships and societal expectations in Nigeria, where discussions around virginity and fidelity can evoke strong reactions.

Daniels attempted to frame her past in a positive light, suggesting that having male friends who provide support does not necessitate any physical relationship.

She continued, “But hold on! What did you guys expect? It’s your little beautiful sweetheart, Regina Daniels. Of course, men and women would admire me. So everyone, please chill.”CLICK TO READ THE FULL NEWS HERE▶️▶️
