The lawmaker for Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko, has described how his SLA was taken by kidnappers, according to a report released by PUNCH. Senator Ned Nwoko stated that the estate was attacked by gunmen moving from house to house and when they got to that of his SLA, they told him to open the door. He said he opened the door and he was taken away. Ned Nwoko said since they took him away, they have never seen him.
The Senator argued that if Nigerians are allowed to carry arms, it could serve as a deterrent against criminal activities, particularly kidnappings.
According to Ned Nwoko;
“The estate was attacked by kidnappers going from house to house. When they got to their door, my SLA told his wife to hide with the children. He opened the door to talk to them, and he was taken away. We never saw him alive again. If he had a gun, or if others in the community had guns, would the kidnappers have had the audacity to go door to door? That wouldn’t happen”.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
