The decision, according to Anukwara, was based on Bobrisky’s medical examination, which indicated that the social media personality possesses both male and female s*x organs.

According to the report by Daily Post on Tuesday, the disclosure was made during an investigative hearing at Kirikiri Correctional Centre, where members of the House of Representatives were probing the circumstances surrounding Bobrisky’s imprisonment.

The committee had visited the facility as part of their investigation into allegations that Bobrisky did not serve his full jail term in the prison.

Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in prison by a Lagos court for naira mutilation.

However, a leaked audio conversation, shared by social media figure Martins Ortse, aka VeryDarkMan, raised doubts about Bobrisky’s actual time in custody.

In the recording, Bobrisky allegedly claimed that he did not stay in prison but rather served his sentence in a lodge, thanks to the influence of a “godfather.”

Despite the allegations, an investigative panel found no evidence supporting the claim that Bobrisky spent his jail term outside the prison.

The panel’s findings contradicted the allegations circulating online.

Addressing the committee, Anukwara detailed the prison’s handling of Bobrisky upon arrival, saying, “I am Emby Anukwara, Deputy Comptroller of Corrections and officer in charge of Medium when Bobrisky was brought in here.

“On April 12, 2024, Bobrisky was brought here at about 10:30 pm, and at that time, we could not do the necessary documentation.”

Anukwara explained that due to uncertainties about Bobrisky’s gender, the prison authorities took proactive measures.

Bobrisky was housed in the P-ward, Room 2, while awaiting further assessment.
