General Musa said on Channels Television‘s Politics Today that Turji’s position has become weaker after the military successfully eliminated his second-in-command and other important lieutenants. This has caused the infamous individual to be cut off from others and forced him to let go of many of his supporters, which some people see as a sign that he is losing power.
“The people know the terrorists because they are part of the communities.” So, sometimes when they see them, before you receive the information, it’s like two hours – the guy has moved. Musa pointed out that when the knowledge reaches you before you move, he has already departed from that location.
He went on to say, “However, I can tell you that we have eliminated his second-in-command, as well as the majority of his lieutenants. In fact, he is currently being compelled to release most of the individuals that work for him. I am letting you know that he has lately started to state that he does not want anything and that he is prepared to give up.
General Musa made it clear that individuals who are guilty for the deaths of innocent persons cannot be forgiven, even if Turji is eager to surrender. He stressed that the military is dedicated to making sure that justice is served and that security is maintained in the places that are impacted.
“We want to eliminate everyone.” He said, “Anyone who has killed should leave; people like him should not be allowed to remain.”
In addition to demonstrating the military’s accomplishments, forces participating in Operation Fansan Yamma recently neutralised some of Turji’s close colleagues, including Aminu Kanawa, who was his second-in-command.
Defence Director Edward Buba said that other important people, including Dosso (Turji’s brother) and Danbokolo (one of Turji’s loyal associates), suffered serious injuries during the operations.
The military has also revealed that important commanders were eliminated under Turji’s leadership. Some of the people who were neutralised were Abu Dan Shehu, Jabbi Dogo, and Kabiru Gebe. Additionally, more than 24 escaping terrorists who were connected to Turji’s camp were killed during operations in the states of Sokoto and Zamfara.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
