Abike Dabiri Response To Viral Video Of Some Nigerian Women In Libyan Prison Chanting Freedom

Abike Dabiri, the chairman of the Nigeria In Diaspora Commission, or NIDCOM, reacted on her official X account on Tuesday to a video that went viral showing some Nigerian women chanting for their liberation while being held captive in Libya. According to the X user;

“Hanty Abike Dabiri, these are not happening in Nigeria but in Libya. Stranded Nigerian Girls and Women languishing in Libyan Prison, not because of crime but as Nigerians. You need to bring them back home ma, so no excuses”.

Reacting to the video, Abike Dabiri said they rescued over 10,000 people from Libya and told them not to return but they still returned.

According to Abike Dabiri;
