The president of Ukraine discusses reclaiming Crimea territory from Russia and Vladimir Putin.

 

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, has spoken out on the subject of taking back Crimea from Russia. He emphasized the need to prevent needless deaths in order to reclaim the region and declared that Ukraine is ready to seek the return of Crimea diplomatically.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He acknowledged that armed conflict alone would not suffice to reclaim Crimea and reiterated his commitment to continue fighting even if U.S. support were to diminish. However, he lamented that without military funding from the United States, Ukraine would be at a significant disadvantage and could ultimately lose the war against Russia.

He said in an interview with Fox News, ‘I already mentioned that we are ready to bring Crimea back diplomatically. We cannot spend dozens of thousands on our people so they perish for the sake of Crimea to come back. The fact is that we can’t bring it back with arms in our hands. We understand Crimea can be brought back diplomatically. We will continue fighting even if U.S. support is cut, but we believe that Ukraine will lose the war if we lose military funding from the United States.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
