During a press conference held on Thursday at Eko Hotel in Lagos, Dr. Stanley Augustine Kavwam, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the Middle-Belt Forum, and Capt. Brent Kane, the National Youth Leader of the Middle-Belt Forum, spoke about their reasons for supporting Seyi Tinubu and expressed confidence that he would bring significant progress to Lagos.

The group highlighted Seyi Tinubu’s detribalized nature as one of the primary reasons for their endorsement.

They believe that his inclusive mindset and ability to empower individuals from all ethnic backgrounds make him the ideal candidate to lead Lagos, a state known for its cultural diversity.

According to the Middle Belt youths, Seyi Tinubu’s approach to leadership mirrors that of his father, who governed Lagos State with a focus on unity and progress for all citizens, regardless of their ethnic or religious backgrounds.

“We believe that Seyi Tinubu has shown great potential in his work so far, especially in his capacity to relate with and empower people from all walks of life, irrespective of tribe or religion,” Dr. Kavwam said.

“His approach to leadership mirrors that of his father, a man who has always prioritized unity and the welfare of all Lagosians.”

The group further stressed that Seyi Tinubu’s leadership would be especially valuable in a state like Lagos, which is home to people from various tribes and religions.

They asserted that only someone who is truly detribalized and capable of understanding the complexities of Lagos’ multicultural society can successfully govern the state.

“Who else will the people in Lagos support if Seyi Tinubu accepts to run for the highest office in Lagos State?” Capt. Kane asked.

“Seyi knows no tribe, no religion, and no gender. He believes in all people, irrespective of their tribe and religion. Those of us from the Middle Belt are often at a disadvantage in a multi-tribal state like Lagos, but with Seyi Tinubu in charge, we are confident that our interests will be well-represented and protected.”

The group also praised Seyi Tinubu for his remarkable interpersonal skills, contrasting him with other children of political leaders who have struggled to connect with the public.

They emphasized that, unlike many of his contemporaries, Seyi has managed to build meaningful relationships across various ethnic and regional lines.

“There are many sons and daughters of presidents across the country whom we have carefully assessed,” the group said.

“Many of them have been scored very low in terms of interpersonal relations. Most of them don’t come close to people, but Seyi is exceptionally different. His limitless connections across different tribes and his deep understanding of Nigeria’s diverse culture make him one of the most detribalized young persons in the country today.”

The group highlighted the significance of Seyi Tinubu’s marriage to a South-Eastern woman, noting that it further underscores his commitment to fostering unity and reconciliation among the diverse ethnic groups in Nigeria.

“His limitless link to other tribes makes it possible for us to adjudge him as one of the most detribalized young persons in Nigeria currently. He will surely address the tribal sentiments and grudges many of us bear in Lagos. To crown it, he has firm roots to the south east as he is married to a South Easterner. This is a plus.”

The Middle Belt youths also cited Seyi Tinubu’s philanthropic efforts as a reflection of his character and leadership qualities.

They pointed to his quick response to the devastating floods in Borno State as an example of his dedication to social responsibility.

“In the wake of the massive flood in Borno, Seyi was quick in his response,” Dr. Kavwam remarked. “We saw how he mobilized his friends and colleagues to the flood-ravaged state and donated generously to the victims. How many sons or daughters of presidents have been as actively involved in such rescue missions? Seyi Tinubu is exceptional in this regard.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
