According to The Nation, the results show the APC leading in Edo North, a traditional stronghold, while the PDP is performing strongly in Edo South.

Similar trends were seen in Owan West and Uhunmwonde, where the APC consistently outperformed both the LP and PDP.

Senator Monday Okpebholo of the APC also achieved success in his polling unit, winning with 102 votes against his opponents, including Akpata.

Okpebholo expressed confidence in his support from the local electorate, asserting that the ruling PDP would not receive any votes in his area.
