After A Nigerian, Favour Ugwe Was Sentenced For Human Trafficking In Ghana, Abike Dabiri Reacts

 

Following the sentencing of Nigerian Favor Ugwe for human trafficking in Ghana, Abike Dabiri, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), reacted.Abike Dabiri shared a report on her official X handle on Thursday, stating that Favour Ugwe received an 8-year prison sentence for human trafficking.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

The report reads;

“Favour Ugwe, a 28-year-old Nigerian involved in prostitution has been sentenced to 8 years with hard labour for human trafficking”.

However, Abike Dabiri has now reacted after the report surfaced online. In a post that she shared on her page, she said the sentencing of Favour Ugwe is a plus for the war against human trafficking. She said Ugwe is one of the people who have been trafficking young girls from Nigeria to Ghana.
