After welcoming Ahmed Usman Ododo, the governor of Kogi state, to Edo state, Philip Shaibu, the former deputy governor of Edo state, replied.Former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu stated on his verified Facebook page on Saturday; “Yesterday, as the Deputy Chairman of the APC National Campaign Council (Youth Mobilization Committee), I received my younger brother, Chairman of the Committee and the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in Igarra for the APC Youth Rally held in Igarra, headquarters of Akoko-Edo local government area.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He added; “We commend His Excellency for leveraging his contacts and cultural ties with our people to ensure victory for our party and candidate, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo in the upcoming September 21, 2024 governorship election.”

He stated further; “No doubt, Senator Okpebholo is a true representation of the aspirations of the good people of Edo State as evident in the tumultuous crowd at the rally. We will continue to galvanise support, particularly among the large population of the youth, for the victory of our party’s candidate come September 21.”
