Vanguard reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Nigeria, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, recently spoke to concerns about feeling left out of politics in the South East area. Ganduje stated that Anambra State, which has been led by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for a long time, will have elections next year. He expressed confidence in the APC’s new approach to increasing engagement with the South East.

He pointed out that the South East has five states governed by four different political parties, complicating their capacity to work together and negotiate successfully. Ganduje emphasized that the APC is eager to change this scenario and seeks to increase political authority in the region, beginning with Anambra State.

Ganduje stated, “Next year, there will be elections in Anambra, which has been governed by the APGA for many years, but we have implemented a new strategy.
