According to the police spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, Yusuf confessed that a notorious bandit known as Aminu Basullube, who has been terrorizing Katsina State, instructed her to collect the arms from a camp in the Danum Madam area of the state.

However, Yusuf said that she was initially told to go and bring millet, but when she received the sack, it contained garri instead. She claimed that she didn’t know the sack contained a weapon. She said she was paid ₦130,000 for the job, with her transport fare set at ₦15,000. She added that she made a mistake by not asking questions about the contents of the sack before agreeing to transport it.

In Yusuf’s words: “I never knew that it was an arm that was inside. They asked me to go and bring millet. And unfortunately, they did not bring Gari for me. Even when I saw the thing, I was apprehensive. I was given 130,000 to take the garri to Katsina. My transport fare is ₦15,000. I made a mistake by not asking questions.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
