Bishop Kukah said his cathedral in Sokoto came under attack by a group of young people after Deborah’s death. He said his priest called him in fear, saying that the attackers were coming to harm them. He said fortunately, there were people in the cathedral who were able to prevent the attackers from entering, however, the group did not stop there. He said the attackers went to a pastoral center built by the church and tried to destroy it and they also burned his driver’s car.
Bishop Kukah questioned how the attackers knew the location of the cathedral and why they were so intent on causing destruction.

Who gave them the address, how did they know? When they were repelled from the cathedral, they still went around to a pastoral center that we had built to try and destroy it. They burnt my driver’s car, they still went from there to our church to go and destroy it. Why did that happen?”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
