In his speech, Shettima highlighted the importance of unity and collective effort in overcoming the country’s challenges. He emphasized that instead of dwelling on the difficulties of the past or present, Nigerians should focus on finding solutions that would lead the country towards a more prosperous future. He assured the public that the benefits of the tough measures being implemented by the current administration would soon become evident.

The Vice President also made a personal remark regarding President Tinubu’s residence in Bourdillon, Lagos, downplaying its significance by stating that his house in Maiduguri was better. He added that there was nothing extraordinary about the President’s residence. This comment, while seemingly personal, underscored his message that material possessions should not be the focus, but rather the work and dedication needed to improve the nation.

The book launch was graced by prominent personalities, including the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, Chief Bisi Akande, Chief Pius Akinyelure, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and former governors Otunba Adebayo and Kayode Fayemi. The Mandate Secretary of the Federal Capital Territory on Health Services and Environment, Adedolapo Fasawe, along with former and serving lawmakers, traditional rulers, and industry leaders, were also in attendance.

Shettima’s call for support comes at a time when the country is facing multiple challenges, and the administration is under pressure to deliver on its promises. He acknowledged the difficulties but remained optimistic that the current strategies would yield positive outcomes.

He said: And at the formative stage of the APC, we held a meeting in his house. They served us a variety of meals but he opted to take garri with groundnut for lunch.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
