Yakubu Dogara Alleges Bala Mohammed Turned Against Bola Tinubu After Saving Him from Court

Former House Speaker Yakubu Dogara has publicly lambasted Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed for what he views as a hypocritical u-turn on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, according to a report by DAILY POST. Dogara’s words follow Mohammed’s recent derogatory remarks on the President, whom he had before commended amid political danger.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Dogara alleges that after “rigging his way into office,” Mohammed sought Tinubu’s assistance to navigate legal challenges, all while lauding the President as exemplary.

However, just months later, the governor has taken a sharp turn, branding Tinubu as “inept, incompetent, and incapable of running Nigeria.”

This shift follows Mohammed’s criticisms of the Tinubu administration’s policies, which he claims are exacerbating suffering amid the #EndBadGovernance protests.

As the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum, Mohammed has called on President Tinubu to amend his policies, warning that failure to do so could jeopardize his chances for reelection in 2027.

In response, Dogara issued a press release titled “On Governor Bala Mohammed’s Latest Tirade and Truculent Buffoonery,” denouncing the governor’s comments as unnecessary and uncalled for.

Dogara stated, “To buttress the point being made, when Gov. Bala Mohammed was in court after rigging himself into office and desperately needed PBAT to save him, he was busy singing his praises to the highest heavens.”

He further criticized Mohammed’s transformation into a vocal opponent, saying, “Just months after PBAT saved him, he has turned around to describe the President as ‘now inept, incompetent, and incapable of running Nigeria.’”

The former Speaker emphasized the importance of responsible leadership during these challenging times for Nigeria, urging leaders to address the legitimate demands of protesters, particularly concerning hunger and insecurity.

He criticized Mohammed’s approach, suggesting it lacks the decorum expected of responsible governance.

Dogara did not hold back in his assessment of Mohammed’s leadership skills, claiming that under his governance, Bauchi State has seen a decline in essential services and an alarming number of out-of-school children.

He pointed out the neglect of educational institutions, highlighting the dilapidated state of the Bauchi Teachers College and the absence of functional hospitals.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
