Wike:Franklin Ntekim, I do not see why Atiku has refused to visit Fubara in the face of the battles

 

Franklin Ntekim, a political analyst in Rivers State, reportedly made a comment to the Vanguard about his party’s seeming lack of support for the governor. He implied that Nyesom Wike, the minister of the FCT, had taken more control of the party and turned it against the governor. He expressed disappointment in former Vice President and 2023 Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar for not visiting Fubara during his ongoing challenges.

He stated that this perceived inaction indicates that the party prioritizes the interests of a single individual over the well-being of its members, revealing a lack of unity and support within the party.

He said, “It is obvious that he does not enjoy the support of the party. It is also clear that the FCT minister (Nyesom Wike) must have won the party to himself and thereby made the PDP in the state to be toxic to the governor. I want him to leave the PDP. I also don’t see why the former Vice President and the Presidential candidate of the 2023 elections, Atiku Abubakar has refused to visit the Governor (Fubara) in the face of the battles he is going through.
