Police Arrest PoS Operator Who Supposedly Provided Nurses And Sex Workers To Bandits

Sunday Musa, popularly known as Dan Gwari, a Point of Sale (PoS) operator implicated in providing assistance to bandits in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has been taken into custody by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command. Musa’s arrest was made public during a news conference in Abuja by the FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, after a well-coordinated operation by the anti-kidnap squad.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

According to Daily Trust reports, Musa is accused of facilitating various forms of support for bandit groups, including supplying sex workers, nurses, and hard drugs on request. Additionally, he served as a financial courier, distributing over N20 million to the families of bandits. Musa confessed to these activities and identified himself as a chief informant and logistics supplier to bandit groups led by a commander known as Ardo, who is currently at large. The bandits under Ardo’s command are reported to have over 15 members, all armed with AK-47 rifles.

In a related development, the police also arrested Ruqquaya Ibrahim, a 41-year-old housewife, for supplying food and other logistics to the bandits. Ibrahim, a resident of Sabon-Wuse, Niger State, was apprehended at Gidan-Dogo forest en route to deliver supplies.
